On 7 October, local defenders stopped armed attackers from entering the moshav. Residents then faced evacuation and the difficult work of returning home.
Six pickleball courts opened in Ein HaBesor in September 2024. They gave the community a new place to gather after returning home.
Players of different ages now meet through EHPT, and the community is helping bring more places to play to the Negev.
Children and adults can play together. Beginners can learn alongside experienced players.
